Items and Upgrade Components in World of Warcraft
The ability to upgrade items is a great way to increase the value of your weapon and armor. Upgrades to common and magical equipment aren't worth it, since rare or unique items are likely to outperform them.
A product can be upgraded up to six times. Each upgrade will increase the item gauge.
Glyphs
Glyphs are the item upgrade materials that can be used to boost an item's attributes. Glyphs can be used to upgrade weapons or armor. They can also be used to improve the quality of a ring, hat, necklace or any other accessory. Glyphs are available at various levels and are available from vendors in the city of Deneb. They are expensive but worth it since they boost an item's stats.

There are many types of glyphs and a font could contain multiple variants of each. Adobe Caslon Pro's default glyphs include standard characters, ornaments, fractions, and swashes. The Glyphs panel allows you to look at these variations and then insert them into your document.
Glyph measurements are the parameters which determine the way a text layout is created. These metrics are determined by a variety of factors, including the advance width and side bearings. These measurements are crucial to ensure that glyphs fit perfectly on the screen and display properly in text.
The Glyphs Panel is a powerful tool to create new document designs or modify existing ones. It is able to display the entire font or a subset of it, such as punctuation marks or math symbols. The panel is resizable and accessible via the Windows menu bar. Glyphs should be used with caution to avoid unexpected results.
Using the Glyphs panel isn't always easy, since it displays all possible glyphs in the font currently available and not just those that have been inserted recently. To get a better understanding of the glyphs available, click the cycle widget located to the left of the word "Glyphs." Then select one of the options to display an expanded or collapsed Glyphs panel or choose an option to show only the glyphs that were recently added.
Growthstones
Growthstones can be used to boost the effectiveness of the weapon, accessory or armor. This process can be time-consuming, and it's possible that the item won't be at the level it was intended for. A common headpiece, for instance, is able to be upgraded to level six, but not nine. This is because an item's highest upgrade level is based on its quality. Rare and Epic items can be upgraded to levels of 9, whereas Uncommon items can only be upgraded to level 6.
Growthstones can be purchased through NPCs in the major cities, or from the player's auction house. You can also get them as rewards from the Ancient Arena season. These items can be used to upgrade passive skills, as well to level up weapons and armor.
Once you have enough Growthstones you can visit any Equipment Enchanting NPC and boost the level of upgrade for your equipment. Different weapons, armor and accessories require different Growthstones. You can also find Active Skill Growth Books and Passive Skill Growth Books at these NPCs, as well as the unique Precious Skill Growth Book: Omnipotence can be used to upgrade your weapon's ultimate abilities.
You can upgrade your skills and equipment through these NPCs however you'll need to spend a lot on the process. Each upgrade level will cost a certain amount of Valorstones and crests and weapons typically cost the most. You'll also have to be able to complete certain quests to acquire the required materials. For example, if you are looking to upgrade your armor, you'll require one of the three Power Dices dropped by monsters 21 and above and a certain amount of Erons and Minerals.
Recycled items
Recycled products are created either entirely or in part from materials that would otherwise been discarded. For item upgrades , placing paper in your recycling bin could cause damage to recycling equipment and create difficulties with recycling facilities due to tangling. Instead, you should utilize reusable grocery bags or cloth towels to reduce the amount of plastics in the garbage. Wire hangers may also cause fires in recycling bins, and pose other hazards to facilities that process recyclables.
It is best to only recycle items that are accepted by your local recycling program. Find out online if the recycling program accepts materials in your locality. Paper bags tissues boxes, tin cans are usually recyclable. Glass beverage and food containers are also acceptable but you should be sure that you wash them prior to putting them in the recycle bin.
The items that don't belong in your recycling include plastic grocery bags, batteries and wire hangers. These items can cause fires at recycling plants and tangle recycling equipment and trucks. Instead, you should bring them to the nearest recycling drop-off location.
Suffix
Suffixes are upgrade elements that can be used to improve armor and weapons. They can be reclaimed by taking them off of items or purchased from a merchant using a Salvage Kit. Upgrades are color coded to indicate the type of item they can be applied to. Upgrades that are identified can be sold to a merchant for gold. Upgrades can be made with up to two prefixes and one suffix. Upgrades are only available for items with a rarity of blue or higher and include items found in the end chests in Factions and Nightfall campaign. Items with upgrade components cannot be used to craft new items.
A suffix is an additional word or group of characters that imparts meaning to a different word. For instance -tion in create or phoria in the sense of feeling. Suffixes also have the ability to alter the speech part of the word. For instance, English's suffix -er and German's suffix -ismus. item upgrades can even re-write a word, like the adjective defenseless, which is now unprotected.
There are a myriad of suffixes ranging from adjectives, verbs, nouns and adjectival terms. Suffixes can alter the meaning or pronunciation of words. Certain have specific rules. Suffixes can also be used to modify the grammatical structure of words, for example, adding -ness to make the word an adjective, or adding -ic to make the possessive noun.
Suffixes aren't just used to give new meaning to words, but can also be added to the names of people and places. For instance, a man who is single could have the surname "Paulauskaite" while a married woman would have the name "Paulauskiene".
The most frequently used suffixes are those which indicate status like -ion the suffix -ist, -us and -es. They can also be used to describe the personality of a person characteristics like -iveness and -phoria.
Affixes to items can be used to give armor and weapons additional parameters. They are often a combination of one or more suffixes or prefixes. For example -Fiery boosts the power of your atk by adding fire elemental damage. Affixes for items are available for most items of level 80, with the exception of made ascended armor and crafted trinkets.
